Once again we’re turning up the heat this summer with the return of the Beach BBQ Festival. This family-friendly scorcher takes place along the spectacular Bray Seafront.

Bringing you a sizzling selection of activities including a funfair, Granby/Smokin’ Soul Demo stage, our famous Hot Wings Challenge, live music, DJ sets, mouth-watering BBQ and food trucks over the weekend of July 20th and 21st 2024 from 11 am to 7 pm.

Admission to the Beach BBQ Festival is entirely free (no tickets are required), making it the perfect family day out.

When is the festival taking place?

Is it free admission to the festival?

Yes, it’s free admission, no ticket is required to the Beach BBQ Festival but charges apply on all Funfair attractions, food, craft vendors and selected games and competitions.

How can I enter festival games or competitions?

There is no registration required just listen out for our PA callouts over the weekend to take part. Charges apply on selected games! *TERMS APPLY.

Will alcohol be available to purchase at Beach BBQ Festival?

Beach BBQ Festival is an alcohol-free event.

Is the festival weather permitting?

What's the best way to get to the festival?

Visitors are encouraged where possible to use available public transport services as there is limited paid parking available along Bray Seafront.

Can I purchase official festival merchandise?

The official Beach BBQ Festival T-shirt will be available to purchase at the event throughout the weekend. Look out for our merchandising stand close to the bandstand.

Are there public toilets on Bray Seafront?

There are several public toilets located along the seafront (southern and northern ends).

Are there ATMs available on Bray Seafront?

There are two ATMs located close to or on Bray Seafront.
  1. Irish Rail Train Station
  2. Star Leisure on Strand Road

Is the festival pet-friendly?

The festival takes along a public space on Strand Road, Bray. The outdoor location is pet friendly.

Please be mindful that your pet needs to be comfortable in noisy environments and remember don’t let your dog off the leash in crowded areas.

Be considerate of other people and dogs: Not everyone is comfortable around dogs, so make sure to ask before you let your pet approach someone.

Some dogs become overwhelmed and overstimulated, so check in on your pet and be ready to leave or have someone pick up your dog.

Don’t forget to pack enough waste bags to clean up after your pet and #LeaveNoTrace.

As of Monday, July 8th 2024, we are not accepting any more vendor applications.
